Les toutes premi\u00e8res publications sur l\u2019id\u00e9om\u00e9trie remontent \u00e0 1997-1998. Il s\u2019agit, \u00e0 mon sens, d\u2019un nouveau champ de recherche encore trop peu connu des chercheurs et du grand public. Certains des plus r\u00e9cents d\u00e9veloppements de l\u2019id\u00e9om\u00e9trie sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s ici. Ils surprendront par leur originalit\u00e9 et leur lecture relativement facile.
